Diso
Bush Imo No more said, I don't want to argue or share my opinions with the extreme amount of kerry supporters here.
Gryph
I only watched the first 30 minutes and they kept repeating the same things over and over again so I stopped watching. And I had to study too...but from what I watched, Kerry was better. Kerry-Edwards 04!
random guy
For the safety of your jobs, everyone in the world's lives and the planet itself, it has to be Kerry.

Gryph
I just wanted to take this time to remind you guys that these debates mean nothing. You won't hear anything you haven't heard before and most probably nothing in the debates will change your mind on which candidate you will support. If you want to learn more about how these debates are organized and structured, I suggest you read these: http://www.pbs.org/now/politics/debatehistory.html and http://www.pbs.org/now/politics/debatehistory2.html. Last Friday on 'Now with Bill Moyers', they reported on how these debates are actually set up. It's quite an interesting read.

JFK and Nixon's debates where some of the most important in history. While Nixon, audibly, was greater, JFK's demeanor was greater, and won him more votes than he would have. Kerry used this debate to better explain himself, open himself to the public, and not through the media's goggles. Kerry definitely raped Bush in this debate, and, hopefully, in the election. Fin. Anon. Read the links I posted. I should have mentioned that RECENT debates mean nothing. Back then the debates were real and done by non-partisan groups. Back then the debates were hosted by the television networks and people could ask questions. Now it's run by a Committee for Presidential Debates in Washington which was voted on unanimously by both parties in Congress. This allows presidential candidates to choose the rules and questions that they like. They used to be able to ask each other questions but that was taken out because the candidates didn't like it because it would make them look stupid. So I'm not wrong, I just didn't articulate earlier. Much like Bush...NOOO!!! Edited October 1, 2004 by GryphonKlaw
Wizard
Ahahaha Fox. Anyways, I'm not american, but we do get the american channels and they did air this in Canada. Good laugh, but Kerry won this from the looks of things (and the laughter at how many times I could of sworn Bush say stuff like "Mulder, the director the FBS" and stuff.
