alexis Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 damn, i hate that gameplay style, i wonder why nintendo is so afraid to make a VS fighting game
Inky Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 nintendo has always been a poor choice for fighting game fans. eversince the original MK butchery
Wizard Posted December 12, 2004 Author Posted December 12, 2004 ! SMASH BROTHERS WAS THE PEE-OWNT! Don't you guys remember that ?
Gryph Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 I preferred the original SSMB to Melee. I really don't know why...I think it's the controller.
Sultan Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 I like how they use the bottom screen for comic dialogue. Makes it seem like they are actually going to piece these characters together into some coherent story. How would that possibly work. Makes me think of all the US comic crossovers and how contrived they were to get certain characters to fight certain other characters.
Daeval Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Compared to traditional fighters, Smash Brothers style gameplay appeals to a much wider audience. The simple-ness and "party" style attracts young or extremely casual gamers, while they usually rely on much-loved characters to hook the hardcore fanboys. Plus, they're party games. With the wireless capability of the DS (and possible WAN wireless play in the future), a party style game has interesting implications. Quite possibly, it will become the only thing nerdier than a bunch of nerds shouting at each other from in front of opposite computers at a LAN. However, it could make the lunch hour that much more entertaining for school age nerds.
O-Fear Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 I think this game is for the GBA.. I mean.. look at that pic..PSP>>DS
BoomBa_GoosE Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 u kno, i thought it would be for GBA. it looked like it was for GBA.
