Dip Switch Help

Hi guys.

 

I've noticed it was said that you can enable bosses in SSV through the dip switches. I've looked through all the soft and hard dip options and I'm not sure what option enables them? Oh, and I'm using NRX 4.8

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The thing is, you need to change the Debug DIP switches. The switches in the original Neo-Geo BIOS can't be changed (since the actual switches are on the board.

 

In order to change these Debug DIPs you need the old Neo-Geo Debug BIOS (I would have recommended Razoola's UIniverse BIOS because it's newer and has more features, but it doesn't work with EGCG NeoRAGEx 4.8 )

Thanks I got the Debug Bios, but it didn't have a readme with it, so I'm not sure how to access the dips?

With NRX it seems to be F1

F1 worked on the NRX 4.8 bios, but for the old debug bios, F1 just seems to reset the game.

This is documented in the Debug BIOS' readme, but since you didn't have it...

 

First of all, you must put NRX in Console Mode. You need to press 2P Select/Coin + C + D to access the Debug BIOS.

Thanks alot Agozer. It's dip 1-6 that's for bosses, correct? Once I change that, what is the proper way to start the game without resetting the switch?

I think I got them to work just by exiting the menu with C.

No problem. I've said this like a thousad times, but the EGCG Team really need to fix the Universe BIOS bug.
