Agozer
SNES had Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. N64 had Motal Kombat Gold and some other I guess. Then there's Mortal Kombat 4 + the two MK's for the Next-gen system. i know I'm still missing a few titles...

Skythe
It has the same button setup as the 2D fighting versions with a couple of added ones like action and turn. There's one fatality "The Chiropractor Nightmare" aka Head Rip that can only be at the specific times (upon Scorpion's and Sareena's defeat). MK storyline. The words Mortal Kombat in the title. Mortal Kombat characters. So yes, it is a Mortal Kombat game. Though, in Special Forces, the only thing related to Mortal Kombat in that was Jax. Green_LAntern
i remeber playing mortal kombat the OG in the arcades and everyone used to cheese by using the infamous sequence: jump kick, jump back, jump kick, jump back, and jump kick untill they beat the game. It didn't really work on goro though
Prican25
my first time of playing mk was actually on genesis hehe. i then got a chance to play the arcade version and felt ripped-off of the genesis version
