Alpha
Sammy Studios today announced that Guilty Gear Isuka, the latest entry in its premier fighting game series, has gone gold and will ship on November 2 for the PlayStation 2. This will be the second title in two months for the series, since the revamped, Xbox Live-enabled Guilty Gear X2 #Reload shipped on September 14 exclusively for the Xbox. Isuka retains the series' trademark high-res, 2D graphic engine and detailed, over-the-top characters while adding a bevy of new gameplay features. A four-player mode lets a quartet of gamers battle simultaneously, filling the screen with nonstop action. A two-player, side-scrolling game called boost mode, which is reminiscent of Final Fight, is also new to this edition. Additionally, factory mode lets players program their own fighters with all the different moves available to the Guilty Gear roster. Guilty Gear Isuka is rated "T" for Teen and carries an MSRP of $49.99. For more information on Guilty Gear Isuka, check out GameSpot's import impressions of the game. BoomBa_GoosE
well for me, isuka is pretty ugly...i love guilty gear but isuka is like puke to me. i despise pressing R1 to change directions....if u got 4 controllers, maybe it could be a fun party game for like an hour... Prican25
adding a turn button was the worst thing to do to a fighting game since midway added a 3D button to the god awful wargods. i've played the jpn version and its definitly the worst of the series. Agozer
Isuka is just a slighly updated GGXX with a kickass soundtrack, not much more to it IMO.
