I'm thinking about downloading joy2key so I can use my PlayStation pad on a game that only works with the keys.

But I need to know if joy2key is safe. In other words, will I be able to disable it so I can use my pad as I would in all other games (emulators and other PC games). Is it possible to switch your pad to work like keys and to switch it back to a normal pad?

Thanks

It would be pretty stupid if you couldn't disable it. A lot of gamers say that Joy2Key is the best program for this kind of stuff. I haven't used it myself though.

Joy2Key is a program that must be run in order to map keys to buttons. Without it running, it doesn't work at all. If you don't want the gamepad buttons functioning like keyboard keys, you simply close the program.

If you want to do that, I recommend the program, ControlMK, instead.

I find it a lot more easier to use with better features. :D

Just tried it out and I think I'll stick with Joy2Key.

The interface wasn't very intuative with ControlMK and I can't see any more features than Joy2Key has.

Well.... I guess it's a great alternative then. :D

Uh, No. But I'm not ruling out a Linux version.
