problem with milkshape ascii import

well iam trying to import dance dace revolution characters to my 3ds max,softimage and my milkshape3d.but the main problem is that the milk shape ascii file always makes the model that has all the body part witn inthe torse then i have to fit them like a puzzle.well iam sick of it.i wanna know if its a problem with my milk shape 3d progra, or some thing just not working.
