I've just switched from Internet Explorer (for the 1st time) to Firefox (thanks to Gryphonklaw's amazing advertising). :P

Just wondering how to get rid of the "auto-complete" in the address bar and anywhere else. I hate this feature in any browser. So is there an option to do this or not?

Thanks. B)

Firefox has autocomplete? Not for me, even the slightest mistake in a url and it gets bunked (like blahblah.co instead of.com and nada)

Maybe it's an option that I disabled? Did you look around in the settings?

It's not actually Auto-Complete but the tab that you can click next to the address bar that lists all previously visited sites. I already figured it out by taking Gryphs advice about using a Firefox forum. And Ryuken's method is the one that worked for me (although I got that info from elsewhere, but thanks anyway Ryuken). :D
