shin_nihon_kikaku
I've just switched from Internet Explorer (for the 1st time) to Firefox (thanks to Gryphonklaw's amazing advertising). Just wondering how to get rid of the "auto-complete" in the address bar and anywhere else. I hate this feature in any browser. So is there an option to do this or not? Thanks. Gryph
Hmm...good question. I don't know. You should ask this question over here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38 That's the Community Help forum for Firefox.

ken_cinder
Firefox has autocomplete? Not for me, even the slightest mistake in a url and it gets bunked (like blahblah.co instead of.com and nada) Maybe it's an option that I disabled? Did you look around in the settings? Samurai Edge
Fire Fox seems not bad for me, but it's just a little too slower than my IE.

Daeval
If you can't do it, just clear your history once in a while and no one will know you're browsing for porn.
shin_nihon_kikaku
It's not actually Auto-Complete but the tab that you can click next to the address bar that lists all previously visited sites. I already figured it out by taking Gryphs advice about using a Firefox forum. And Ryuken's method is the one that worked for me (although I got that info from elsewhere, but thanks anyway Ryuken).
