Gryph Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 i just was wondering how goos are this kind of displays for gaming<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't use one. I find CRTs to be better for gaming. But LCDs are getting better though, my hate for LCDs for gaming stems from the first and second generation of LCDs. I'll take a Trinitron over LCD anyday.
alexis Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 yeah i guess so, probably the biggest problem is the refresh and how the screen blurs when usig it with games like fps, racing and stuff
Agozer Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 My LCD is downright awesome for gaming. The only slight problem with LCDs is that you can't resize the picture; just auto adjust.

I might invest in an LCD if it's good for gaming because I need more room on my desk to do work.

Gryph Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 all about HD, but there not worth all that money they cost<{POST_SNAPBACK}> HD is indeed the ultimate crap. I can't wait for the prices to go down so I can get one.
random guy Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 We've got an lcd screen on one computer, and the problem is that one of the dots doesn't register or something so it's constantly red. We tried to get a refund, but it turns out that the producers can allow a maximum of 1% of the dots to go red until you get a refund (within warranty), so if you get one expect some red dots on the screen. It's really distracting too.
