More info on your networking hardware like the connection type (USB,RJ45 etc), your type of internet access (dialup, broadband) and the software you are using. Here's what you gotta do... 1)Set an IP address for both of those computers.(The first one can be 192.168.0.1, then the 2nd one is 192.168.0.2) 2)Have the first computer (192.168.0.1) connect to the internet. 3)If you have Windows XP. Enable internet sharing for that Internet connection. 4)Then in the 2nd computer, change the settings as follows : DNS SERVER : 192.168.0.1Gateway : 192.168.0.1 I think that's it..... ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can just go to My Network Places and click Set Up Home or Small Office Network. And then choose the option that's something like "This computer connects to the Internet, other computers connect through this computer."
